First mobility C1 in Italy

Last November we went to the Peter of Slovenes / San Pietro al Natisone in Venice Slovenia to participate in the 1st joint meeting of the Erasmus + KA2 Lifelong Skills Project. We were hosted by the National Multi-Level School with Slovene-Italian bilingual classes, Pavel Petricic.

The project, which runs from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2021, is designed to enhance students’ lifelong skills. In recent years, we have noticed that students have a decline in manual, motor and other abilities. In four exchanges, students will be tested in movement, cooking, art and creative workshops organized by individual schools and thus develop their skills. At the same time, they will get to know games where their peers from other countries spend their free time, their cuisine and culture.

Our first meeting in Italy was primarily about getting to know each other and planning activities together. We shared tasks, agreed how student exchanges would take place, learned how to use the eTwinning platform, where our project activities would be published, exchanged experience and practices in the field so far, and looked at some workshops for we were prepared by the teachers and students of the host school. We intensified our working meeting with the knowledge of local cultural and natural heritage, cuisine and history of the region, where a large number of Slovenes still reside.

We have returned home full of new ideas and experiences and are pleased to work with reliable and hospitable partners in the project, who will surely make sure that our students feel great about them.
